Maia Learning replaces Naviance, and is a modern, dynamic, and responsive tool that will grow with the needs of our school, our staff, and our students.
Maia Learning empowers and engages students in planning their futures. It keeps parents involved, and supports counselors by streamlining administration.
The director of college counseling at Rocky Hill School plans to integrate the various Maia Learning tools and programs into the lives of students grades 9-12. Maia Learning modules include self assessment, careers exploration, academic four-year planning, personal portfolio development and record-keeping, college research, financial aid, scholarships, and information on paying for college, as well as all of the college application tools.
Students will eventually use Maia Learning every year in high school to explore, and then store information that will lead them to a complete post-secondary plan with the aid of their college counselor and adviser. Parents will be given accounts to follow along with their student’s progress. We hope that you will explore Maia Learning and enthusiastically (but patiently) wait for the many features to be introduced in the coming year.
