tuition & financial assistance

Apply for Financial Assistance

The mission of Rocky Hill Country Day School is to educate the whole child; mind, body, and spirit. We believe that for students to be good citizens and life-long learners that all applicants who meet the admission criteria for the school should have equal access to the opportunities here. To assist families with tuition, Rocky Hill utilizes the School and Student Services application to meet the need of families with children enrolled in Kindergarten and beyond.

Tuition & Financial Assistance

Families interested in applying for tuition assistance must complete their School & Student Services (SSS) application annually by December 31. The application opens each year in October and can be completed at any point ahead of the deadline for families applying for K-12. We do not offer financial assistance to students enrolled or enrolling in our Preschool program. If you’re applying following the priority deadline of February 1st, please know that financial assistance is available but limited. We review all applications but if assistance will be important to your family, we strongly encourage you to apply by February 1. Use the SSS application portal link to create an account for your family.

Financial Assistance

The Financial Assistance Committee reviews applications to determine demonstrated need to provide support so that a family’s tuition bill fits their unique budget. We do not have standard awards as each is customized to the family applying. In addition to our assistance program, active military scholarships of $4,000 are available for students with a parent currently serving on active duty.

Financial assistance decisions are announced to returning families in January while applicant families are notified of financial decisions alongside admission decisions. We do not provide award information before an admission decision is made to any family. Any assistance offered by Rocky Hill Country Day comes from our operating budget and the generous support of friends and families of the school through our Annual Fund and endowed scholarships.
