WELCOME INTERNATIONAL FAMILIES
Rocky Hill Country Day School has a long history of enrolling international students to attend our programming in the Upper and Middle Divisions. We work with enrollment partners or with families on an individual basis to support students with local home-stay options. These students complete the same application process but are required to submit a test of English language ability to support their application.
As is the case for all of our students, our intentionally small size affords international students the opportunity to connect immediately with students and faculty, allows each student a ‘front seat’ at the Harkness table, and provides opportunities in leadership and athletics that they may not get at a larger school. Additionally, our top quality visual arts department immerses students in a variety of mediums. We invite you to check out these student experiences!

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY
All international students must be represented by an International Student Agency. If you do not have one, we can connect you to one of our partners.
The following documents must be submitted to the Admissions Office with your agent:

2. A completed application through our Veracross platform. Once an account is created, all required steps will be listed to complete the application process
3. An official TOEFL Test Score Report (TOEFL code B036) or score report from Duolingo. Any other English proficiency test must be cleared with the Admissions Office prior to submission
4. If not included in your Agency application, a copy of the ID page of the applicant’s passport and a verification of funds for payment of tuition.

4. An official TOEFL Test Score Report (Rocky Hill Country Day School TOEFL Code: B036). A minimum score of 70 or The Duolingo Test with a minimum score of 90. A score of 90 or 110, respectively, allow students to test out of our ELL program.
