We offer girls soccer teams for our students in grades 5 – 12.

Our Middle School athletics work in tandem with our Upper School teams to create a linear progression through sport which allows for a higher level of skill acquisition and longer love of the game.

• Played four years Division 1 soccer at The Univ. of Tulsa
• 3 years head coach of HS boys team, with 1 State Championship
• 9 years head coach for middle school boys team (76-41-14 record)
• Coached U19 Premier Boys & Assistant U16 Premier Girls

Tim Greenwood

Head Coach, A Team

Starting in fourth grade and continuing through college, Coach Greenwood was a member of competitive teams in several sports. During his years at RHCD, he has enjoyed working with middle school students to help them improve their skills, to have fun and to prepare them to play at a higher level. Coach Greenwood has had numerous successful seasons at the helm of the Middle School Soccer team, including most recently winning the Land of Fires Soccer Tournament.

Karah Chartrand

Head Coach, B Team

Coach Chartrand has over 8 years of coaching experience. She began coaching for the North Smithfield Area Youth Soccer Club and has coached both boys and girls at a variety of age levels in Super Liga Select Club Soccer. She has also spent many years with the Special Olympic Soccer Program, both traditional and unified. Her coaching style focuses on both player development and team building, with a focus on fundamentals (ball skills) and decision-making (tactics). Good fundamentals are maximized by using as many activities as possible with each player working with a ball. Good decision-making is maximized by using as many activities as possible employing small groups.

Alex Champagne '04

Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach is Alex Champagne ’04 graduated from Rocky Hill School in 2004. He played varsity soccer, basketball and lacrosse. Alex then played lacrosse in College at Ohio Wesleyan University and Mount Ida College. He played in four NCAA lacrosse playoff games. After college, he lived in China for two years as a student and undergraduate English teacher. Alex currently has a Masters Degree in Economics. His passion is helping others see and grow to their highest potential.
