We offer girls lacrosse teams for students in grades 5 – 12.

Our Middle School athletics work in tandem with our Upper School teams to create a linear progression through sport which allows for a higher level of skill acquisition and longer love of the game.

Kerri Kelleher

Head Coach

Coach K has been coaching youth sports for ten years and has instructed hundreds of players in soccer, basketball, and volleyball, but her true love is lacrosse. She is Level 2 certified coach with @uslacrosse, coaches two youth teams for the Cranston Lacrosse Club, and is a club-founding board member. Coach K is also the owner and a coach with the Flare Lacrosse Club, where athletes are taught to focus on improving their individual skills while supporting their teammates as they explore their own journey. She is so excited to work with the amazing ladies at Rocky Hill Country Day and continue to build upon the foundation of a 2019 State Championship!

Monica Boss

Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach Monica Iacono Boss ’91 is a trustee and current parent to Charlotte ’22, Sydney ’23 and Morgan ‘26. While Monica attended Rocky Hill School, she co-captained the Varsity Lacrosse and Field Hockey teams in addition to earning All-State honors. She has been coaching youth lacrosse in East Greenwich and South County for many years and is a previous member of the South County Youth Lacrosse Board. Monica also played on the Trinity College Varsity Field Hockey team, which won the ECAC Championship and went on to compete in the NCAA Final Four.

Our School Nurse joined RHCD this year having been the School Nurse at Providence Country Day for the past six years. Prior to that, Katy worked at Charlton Memorial Hospital and at a Surgery Center in MA. Katy coached Girls Lacrosse at The Gordon School for four seasons- many years ago. She has worked with Middle School aged athletes in an unofficial capacity through the years. Trixie Dumas

Head Coach

Coach Dumas ’81 Lower School Art teacher, parent of Troy ’07, Tory ’10, and Sabrina ’16, played Field Hockey at Rocky Hill, captain Senior year, and played JV at Wheaton College. She helped the Middle School Field Hockey program get reestablished five years ago with eight girls to a full strength, competitive team. She is also the head MS Girl’s Lacrosse coach.

Hannah Hudson

Assistant Coach

Coach Hannah Hudson is new to lacrosse. However, she is also the varisty cross country head coach here at Rocky Hill. She started running cross-country in the 6th grade, and she’s been hooked ever since. Over the years, she’s logged countless miles on both sides of the Atlantic. Her favorite runs have taken her through the foothills of Vermont’s Green Mountains, beside the Gironde river in Bordeaux, France, and along the cobbled streets of Ferrara, Italy. Running is her favorite way to discover a new place, so as a new member of the Rocky Hill community, she’s excited to lace up her sneakers and hit the campus trails with the team!
