HOW TO APPLY
VISIT THE SCHOOL
Attend an Open House or come for a tour (or both)! We encourage all families to visit one of our Open House events or to set up an appointment for a campus tour. Seeing the school up close while on a tour or at an event offers a terrific vantage point to better understand and appreciate the Rocky Hill Country Day experience. Register for an Admission Event or call the Admissions Office (401.884.9070 ext. 107) to schedule a tour.


APPLY ONLINE
If you think Rocky Hill Country Day School is a good fit for your child and family, your next step is to complete the online application. As part of the application, you will be able to email links to our online recommendation forms to your child’s teacher/s and print out the form to request that transcripts be sent to Rocky Hill Country Day. Completed applications are due to the Admissions Office no later than February 1, 2021.

We encourage all families to visit one of our Open House or other Admission events, or contact the Admissions Office to set up an appointment for an interview and a student experience. We are sorry we cannot offer visit days at this time but look forward to sharing a student experience with you.

You may log into your online application at any time to check the status of your application items. The items we have received will be reflected on your checklist.
TUITION & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Rocky Hill Country Day School offers need-based Financial Assistance as well as merit and active military scholarship opportunities. We believe all qualified students should have access to the unique educational opportunities at Rocky Hill Country Day and we seek to enroll a diverse body of talented, passionate, and driven students including candidates of varying socio-economic backgrounds. As such, we are committed to making the investment of a Rocky Hill Country Day education affordable and accessible to a wide range of qualified applicants.
Financial Assistance
Rocky Hill Country Day School makes all need-based Financial Assistance considerations on the basis of financial assessments conducted by School and Student Services (SSS), a subsidiary of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
To be considered for need-based financial assistance from Rocky Hill Country Day, an application must be submitted online at sssbynais.force.com. The application and supporting documentation must be submitted by December 31, 2019. Applications completed after this deadline will be considered for financial assistance only as funds remain available.
Please Note: Financial Assistance begins in Kindergarten, and is not available for the Preschool class.

Rocky Hill Country Day’s SSS code number is 6118. If you have any difficulties completing the necessary questionnaires or uploading any documents, SSS provides a helpful hotline with service in both English and Spanish 800-344-8328.
Merit Scholarships
Based on academic merit and exemplary character, Rocky Hill Country Day’s Academic Merit Scholarship award will be given to a select number of applicants in grades 4-12 who best display the qualities of a Rocky Hill Country Day student, including high academic achievement, outstanding character, and a score of 85% or higher (SSAT percentile) on the Secondary Student Admission Test (SSAT). Students must complete the Rocky Hill Country Day School Application for Admission to be considered for a merit scholarship. There is no application for the merit scholarship.
Active Military Scholarships
- Parents of domestic children in grades K-12 who are serving in active duty in any of the branches of the United States Military and hold a United States passport qualify for a $4,000 scholarship.
- Students who qualify for this scholarship must complete the admission application to be considered for admission to the School.
- How to Apply: The parent who is serving in active duty must submit their current military identification card to the School by February 1 in order to receive the Military Scholarship.
