Congrats to this weeks @rockyhillcountryday "Athlete of the Week"!
.
Girls Varsity Soccer - Alara K. '27
"Alara brings her whole heart, determination, and passion to everything she does—not only in every game, but to every practice. She leads by example each and every day, setting a standard that challenges her teammates to rise to her level and give their very best.

Alara scored our goal on Friday, but her impact goes far beyond what shows up on the scoreboard. She is truly the heart that drives this team. Her work ethic, energy, and commitment inspire those around her to work harder, compete stronger, and never settle for anything less than their best.

We are so proud of the leader and teammate Alara continues to be. Congratulations, Captain Alara! You are so deserving of Player of the Week!"

Varsity Cross Country - Sam L. '30
"Sam has been showing up every day with determination and grit. As a new runner he has seen steady progress from week to week. He is improving in endurance, form, and speed. I look forward to seeing his first performance at our home meet this week. - coach Silvia & Morgan
.
Girls Varsity Soccer -Alex M. '29
"Alex has been working incredibly hard at practice, improving every day and constantly challenging herself to become a better player for herself and her team. She is always willing to step into whatever position the team needs, showing great versatility, commitment, and a true team-first attitude.

She also played a fantastic game in Thursday’s coed match! 👏⚽️

We can’t wait to see how Alex continues to grow and improve throughout the season. Her hard work and willingness to do whatever it takes to help her team are a great example of what being a teammate is all about. Congratulations, Alex! Keep up the great work! 💙⚽️" - coach Lussier & Zunum-Cux
.
Girls Varsity Field Hockey - Maria P. '28
"When the game is on the line, Maria comes up BIG! 💥

This week’s Athlete of the Week continually showed us what it means to hustle, compete, and leave it all on the field. Maria assisted on our first goal and then delivered the ultimate finish, scoring the GAME-WINNING GOAL IN OVERTIME! 🔥

And that’s not all—watching Maria seemingly come out of nowhere on defense to win the ball and immediately turn it into attack is something special. Her speed, determination, and relentless hustle make her a game-changer from one end of the field to the other. Congratulations, Maria! 🎉 Way to PLAY BIG! 💙🏑" - coach Dumas & Dumas
