We welcome your interest in all grade levels and look forward to working with you through the admission process. The application deadline for the 2020-21 school year is February 1, 2020 and acceptance decisions for applications completed by February 1 will be mailed on Februrary 28, 2020. We will continue to accept applications after this date as space allows.

A fun opportunity for prospective Lower School students (Entering Preschool through Grade 5) and their parents to visit campus and engage in several make and play activities while learning about Rocky Hill Country Day School.

How to Apply
1. Visit the School
Attend an Open House event or come for a tour (or both)! We encourage all families to visit one of our Open House events or to set up an appointment for a campus tour. Seeing the school up close while on a tour or at an event offers a terrific vantage point to better understand and appreciate the Rocky Hill Country Day experience. Register for Open House or call the Admissions Office (884-9070 ext. 107) to schedule a tour.
2. Apply Online
If you think Rocky Hill Country Day School is a good fit for your child and family, your next step is to complete the online application. As part of the application, you will be able to email links to our online recommendation forms to your child’s teacher/s and print out the form to request that transcripts be sent to Rocky Hill Country Day. Completed applications are due to the Admissions Office no later than February 1, 2020.
3. Register for the Required Standardized Test
Applicants for grades 6-12 must take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) and must identify Rocky Hill Country Day (Code 6085) as a test score recipient. Students entering grades 4 and 5 who are seeking a Merit Scholarship may also take the SSAT. Rocky Hill Country Day is a designated SSAT test center and will be administering the exam in December, January, February, and March. Visit www.ssat.org for test dates and to register.
4. Schedule a Student Visit and Parent Interview
We encourage all families to visit one of our Open House or Prospective Parent Coffee events, or contact the Admissions Office to set up an appointment for a campus tour. In addition, spending a day in class at Rocky Hill Country Day is a terrific way for applicants to experience classroom and social life here and is a mandatory step in the Admissions Process. Days available for visits vary depending on the age of the child and details are provided on the application for admission.
NOTE: Scheduling a visit is part of the online application and we will contact you to confirm a time for a parent interview on the day of your child’s visit.
5. Apply for Financial Aid
Families interested in applying for tuition assistance must complete an SSS application by December 31, 2019. Please click on the Financial Assistance tab for details. You may log into your online application at any time to check the status of your application items. The items we have received will be reflected on your checklist.
