MARIA CHARBONNEAU DANCKERT '12
2019–2021 Alumni Board President
Welcome alumni! I am proud to be part of this community and honored to be your Alumni Association President.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I was given to learn and grow while at Rocky Hill Country Day and fondly recall my time as a student. RHCD continues to thrive—I am continually impressed by the accomplishments of the students and alumni alike.
I believe RHCD gave us, the alumni, what we needed to succeed in life. Now is the time for us to honor yesterday by giving back today with our gifts of talent, time, and treasure. Please join me in getting involved–we’d love to have you back at “The Hill”!
With warm regards,
Maria

There will be a raw bar from Matunuck Oyster Bar, clam cakes and chowder, chicken and steak skewers, salads, doughboys, Del’s Lemonade and of course, s’mores by the firepits! There will also be live music from The Naticks.

WAYS TO GIVE

The Rocky Hill Fund is the annual campaign that directly supports the School’s operating budget. As is the case in independent schools, funding is needed above and beyond tuition to support our robust student experience. Gifts to the Rocky Hill Fund make an immediate and positive impact by supporting our academic programs, extracurricular activities, 84-acre campus, dedicated faculty, and much more.
- The Rocky Hill Country Day School Alumni Association established a scholarship award to be given annually to a child or grandchild of an alumnus/alumna. The recipient will best embody the qualities of an RHCD student through outstanding scholarship, sportsmanship, and/or citizenship. Recipients demonstrate a financial need as stipulated by the School’s financial aid policies and procedures.
- The Alumni Scholarship Fund is an endowed fund, as it reached the $25,000 level thanks to the generosity of many. Gifts may be made directly to the fund at any time. Three students have received the $1,000 award since its inception.
Thank you to all who have contributed to the fund and fundraising efforts and made a difference for our legacy students! If you would like to make a difference by giving to the Alumni Scholarship Fund, you may do so online or by contacting Patricia McLaughlin at 401.884.9070, ext 129.
HOPELANDS LEGACY CIRCLE
- Rocky Hill Country Day continues to grow and flourish thanks in part to the goodwill of others, and planned gifts can have a lasting impact on the School. To learn, more visit our Planned Giving page.
Having a brick on campus is a timeless way to honor a member of the Rocky Hill Country Day community, past or present. Bricks are installed each fall and spring. Senior Class Bricks are placed in the Senior Brickwalk; all other bricks are installed in the Garden Classroom Brickwalk.
If you have any questions, please contact Patricia McLaughlin at 401.884.9070, ext 129.
