admissions overview
Welcome to Rocky Hill Country Day School – we are thrilled you are here, and we invite you to learn more about how a truly engaging student-centered education can transform your child’s learning experience!
At Rocky Hill, we understand that students learn most effectively when they are excited by their education and driven by their curiosity. With a focus on active learning centered around discussion, inquiry, and discovery, Rocky Hill offers our students a robust curriculum and a classroom experience that sparks exploration, investigation, and deep learning. And our location along the shores of Narragansett Bay provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to create authentic connections between what our students learn in the classroom and the land and water that surrounds us.
Our intimate size is one of our greatest strengths – allowing teachers to know each child for the unique learner that they are, to craft lessons designed for maximum participation and true understanding, and to take advantage of the resources around us to root their teaching in real-life experiences. The result is that Rocky Hill is a place where our students are excited to come to school each day – confident in their opportunities to grow, eager to connect with their peers, and supported by our warm and welcoming community.
We welcome the chance to learn more about your child and your goals for their education. Visiting Rocky Hill is the best way to get to know us better, and I would love the opportunity to give you a tour of our beautiful 84-acre waterfront campus. I hope you will feel free to reach out to me directly to learn more about the transformative experience a Rocky Hill education can provide.
Come see why your child’s future starts here – we can’t wait to meet you!
Warmly,
Jill Millard
Director of Admissions and Financial Aid
Welcome to Rocky Hill Country Day School. We are a community of students and faculty from Nursery to 12th grade. We prioritize hands-on experiential learning opportunities and taking advantage of our expansive waterfront campus. Learning at Rocky Hill Country Day is meaningful and purposeful. Each day our students actively engage in real-world problem solving and critical thinking, a process that will equip Mariners to succeed and impact a complex world.
We invite you to reach out and come to visit us here on campus. The first step is to inquire about this vibrant community and the unique ways that we support our students. Explore our website and social media accounts to learn more about what we do daily to “think outside” and learn together.
