meet the team
We invite you to get to know our team and learn more about how the Admissions Office supports families through this experience. As Director of Enrollment Management, James oversees all aspects of a student’s enrollment here at Rocky Hill Country Day. He works with families from their initial inquiry all the way to their re-enrollment each year until graduation. We value the changes between the Divisions and James is a key part of supporting families through each grade. Kristin works to support families learning more about the school. She supervises our Nathan Hale Ambassadors that families meet during their visits to campus as well as running amazing events like our Open Houses and New Family night. With wonderful experience and a care for this community, the Office is well prepared to connect with your family and share the story of Rocky Hill with future Mariners!

James Pinkham joined the Rocky Hill community as Director of Enrollment Management in July of 2022. He brings with him over a dozen years working in independent schools, first as a history teacher and then admission and enrollment work. Most recently he served as the Associate Director of Admission & Director of Financial Aid at New Hampton School (NH). A native Rhode Islander, James attended independent schools seeing first-hand the benefits the opportunities, classroom size, and community engagement can provide to students at Rocky Hill. James graduated from St. Lawrence University (NY) with a degree in History and a double minor in European and Educational Studies and a Masters of Educational Leadership from the University of New England (ME) in 2014.
James lives with his wife Sara in North Kingstown. When not at work he can be found out hiking with his dog, cheering for New England sports teams, or working on his quest to try all the calamari in Rhode Island.
