The Rocky Hill School Alumni Association is composed of nearly 1,200 individuals who have attended or graduated from Rocky Hill School. We hope you enjoy the updates about campus and alumni activities, alumni support of the Annual Fund, and the e-mail directory.

Welcome to Rocky Hill School’s new website and the Alumni Portal!

In this section, there are links to public pages on the website that alumni will use frequently. In addition, alumni can log in to the Alumni Portal, which gives them access to an alumni directory, profile pages, Alumni eNews and other features we will build in the near future. A Professional Directory and Online Class News are features we look forward to adding soon.

LOGGING IN
Each alumna/us has an assigned user name and password. The user name for alumni is your first name, last name and graduation year (joesmith05). To begin, select Alumni Login Portal on the left side menu. When you log in for the first time, simply enter your user name and select “forgot login information” on the log in screen. An email from webmaster@rockyhill.org will then be sent to the email address the school has on file for you. The email will instruct you on how to reset your password. Please note that you are asked to respond to that email within 24 hours. Once that is set, you can log in with your new password.

If the school does not have a current or valid email address on record, we cannot send you the password link. Please use the ALUMNI EMAIL UPDATE form to submit your email address and we will update your profile on your behalf.

SETTING PREFERENCES

WIDGETS
By logging in, each visitor is able to view and customize his/her own widgets to create a custom landing page. “A web widget is a portable chunk of code that can be installed and executed within any separate web page by an end user. Widgets often take the form of on-screen tools or gadgets (clocks, stock market tickers, calendars, daily weather, etc).” A few of the available widgets from the Rocky Hill website include the calendar, news items and athletic schedules. Select any widgets you’d like, or upload your own, to display when you log in.

PROFILES AND CONTACT INFORMATION
Each member of a community has a profile that he/she can update with address, email, phone and business information. This data will be used by the school to send e-communication, so it is important that members update their profile. Members can choose to make any of this information available to other alumni. You may select to have specific information display if for example, you want other alumni to be able to email or call you, but you do not wish to share your home address. When you edit your profile, you can check display boxes next to information you wish to make visible to fellow alumni. Remember that this information is only accessible to alumni who have logged in to the website. Members may also load images or video and enter detailed information about themselves in their profiles if they choose to do so. To access your profile, simply click on the Profile link on the left side menu after you log in.

We will continue to grow the site and the functions of it as the school year continues. We encourage you to use the site regularly!
