Dr. James Tracy, Head of Rocky Hill School, was a plenary speaker for Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council’s “TRANSFORM” Conference on Friday, November 17.
Dr. Tracy presented “Preparing the Next Generation for Work in a Roboticized World” to a select gathering of prominent executives at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
The audience represented prominent leaders in technology, industry, and academia – including Amazon’s Director of Alexa Information, Director of AI Engineering for IBM Research, Partners at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and the Executive VP for Global Business Units at Oracle, among others who attended the event curated to keep C-suite executives abreast of current mega-trends that might affect their industries.
Dr. Tracy’s talk reflected research he is doing for a book on the future of work and education, which he is co-authoring with Greg Toppo, Senior Editor at USA Today. This work has also deeply informed his leadership of new innovation initiatives at Rocky Hill School since his arrival in July of 2016.
Rocky Hill School has seen an increase of 45% in applications over the past year.
Dr. Tracy will be presenting a similar talk on Thursday, December 7 at the Newport Chamber of Commerce Economic Update Luncheon at The Grace Vanderbilt Hotel in Newport.
