Online Giving - You can choose this link to go directly to our online giving form. This is a secure link and you will receive a gift acknowledgement from the School for your records.

Check or money order - Please mail your check or money order to Rocky Hill School, 530 Ives Road, East Greenwich, RI 02818. To designate the use of your gift, download the RHS gift form and submit it with your contribution.

Credit Card - To pay by credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover) you may use the Online Giving link , call or e-mail Liz Cochran, Development Office Manager at (401)884-9070 ext. 132, or complete the credit card information on the RHS gift form.

Stock Gifts - If you would like to make a gift of stock, please notify your broker of your decision in regard to the specific security and number of shares to be given. It is probably to your greatest advantage to gift an appreciated security, saving you capital gains. These shares can be electronically transferred to the School's brokerage account. When the securities are received, we will sell the shares and all proceeds are then remitted to RHS and credited to the fund designated by the donor. The gift date is the date the securities are transferred to Rocky Hill School, and the value of your gift is calculated on the mean value per share on the date of the gift.

The donor, or the donor's broker, should notify Beth DeGerlia , Director of Development, at 401-884-9070

ext. 129 on the day instructions are given to transfer the securities. At that time, we will provide necessary account information and notify our broker to expect the transfer of securities into Rocky Hill School's account so that there is minimum delay between the date of gift and the sale of the securities.

In-kind Gifts - Gifts of tangible items or professional services to be used either by the School or for event related auctions and raffles are in-kind gifts. When considering donating an item to the School, please contact Beth DeGerlia , Director of Development, to discuss the best use of your contribution. We want to be certain your gift is used appropriately. In-kind gifts help the School in many ways. Gifts of furniture, office supplies and equipment, and books are wonderful examples of in-kind items RHS can use. On occasion, our School may not have a use for an item and your gift could better serve another non-profit organization. In that case, we will gladly help you locate another recipient.

Life Insurance Policies - Gifts of Life Insurance can be made through transfer of ownership or beneficiary designation. The donor is responsible for maintaining the value claimed for the donation. If ownership is transferred, any premiums due should be made through Rocky Hill School and will be credited to the donor as an Annual Gift.   If premium payments are discontinued, Rocky Hill School will evaluate options for sale or continuation of the policy. (If the policy is a paid-up policy, the value of the gift for Rocky Hill School's crediting and accounting purposes is the policy's discontinued face value. If the policy is partially paid-up, the value of the gift for Rocky Hill School's crediting and accounting purposes is the policy's cash surrender value.)

Wills and Bequests - Leaving a legacy to the people and charitable institutions you believe in is one of the most important ways to ensure a loved ones continued care and support into the future. If you are interested in including Rocky Hill School in your estate plans with a specific bequest, or other deferred gift, you can be assured that you will be playing an important role in strengthening the School's endowment, and /or supporting the programs you care about for future generations.   An example of a simple bequest form is available for you to review and discuss with your attorney and/or financial advisors. You may also use this form if you would like to share your gift intentions with Rocky Hill School.

Other Deferred Gifts - There are also other ways to plan a deferred gift, such as retirement benefits or a charitable trust that pays you income.
