Rocky Hill School Community Partnership

A strong and effective partnership between all members of the Rocky Hill School community enhances every student's educational experience. Parent, faculty member, administrator, and staff member – each one of us plays a vital role. Ours must be a shared commitment to open communication, mutual respect, and a common vision. To this end, we share the following goals:

•  Support and advance the School's mission, at home and in the community.

•  Promote a teaching and learning environment designed to develop personal integrity, healthy decision making and sound study habits.

•  Enforce, and reinforce with students and all School policies and procedures, as outlined in the Student Handbook.

•  Encourage students to take responsibility for their own actions as they move towards a mature independence.

•  Respect that the School is a private, non-profit, independent school governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees; when invited, participate conscientiously in the decision making process.

•  Be actively involved in the life and culture of the School by attending events throughout the year, such as PTL meetings, lectures, plays, concerts, and athletic competitions.

•  Generously support fundraising programs, including the Annual Fund, the Capital Campaign, and other School-sponsored events during the year. Rocky Hill School is a charitable, non-profit institution. Contributions to Rocky Hill School are tax deductible.

•  Seek information directly from the school when questions or concerns arise. The School's administration, faculty, and staff are easily accessible. Visit the School's website regularly for news and important announcements.

Personal involvement and support make a difference. Working in partnership, we strengthen our community and ensure the highest quality educational experience for every student.
