Alumni Reunion 2003

Celebrating the reunion classes of
1948, 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968,1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998

Thank you to everyone who came to the 2003 Alumni Reunion on June 7, 2003.

Torrential rain could not dampen the spirit of the Class of 1978 who celebrated their 25th reunion. Nine of their fifteen classmates were able to make it back, traveling from as far away as California and Italy! Thanks to the hard work of Karl Wadensten and Sarah Shaw Sisken, the class had a wonderful day including a Champagne Stroll of the campus with Headmaster Jim Young '70 and faculty members Mrs. Stout, Mr. and Mrs. Carter, Mr. Dixon and Mr. and Mrs. Flynn. Karl and Sarah also worked with their classmates to organize a Class Gift in honor of their reunion. They will restore a section of the iron fence which will be memorialized with a Class of 1978 plaque in their honor. The class gave a direct challenge to members of the Class of 1979 in attendance (Sam Dumas, Betsy Blanchard Rafferty, Michael Baccari and Jennifer Young Schnell) to organize an even more successful 25th next year!

The Class of 1983 had a strong representation with seven alumni in attendance. Members from reunion classes 1968, 1988, 1993 and 1998 also visited with old friends and faculty. In total over seventy alumni/ae and faculty returned. Look for some more updates and photos to come soon!
