Volume 1, Week 13 - May 2, 2008

SPECIAL EDITION: Arts Week - April 21-25, 2008

Rocky Hill School launched a week-long celebration of the arts on Monday, April 21st as students turned their eyes and ears to the arts as part of Arts Week. This is a time when students in all divisions enjoy special programs and visiting artists who bring performing and visual arts to the forefront. Special programs for the week are listed below.

The week culminated with Sights & Sounds of Rocky Hill School, a choral and instrumental performance and art show. This all-school event showcased the talents of students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. The evening began on the Rocky Hill School campus where student artwork was displayed in the Sharpe Gymnasium and Flynn Academic Center. The attention then turned to the performing arts with an all-school concert. The audience heard the sounds of the Lower and Upper School choral groups, 5th Grade Band, and Middle and Upper School Bands.
