Arts Week - Student Concert

On Friday, April 21st, the RHS community was treated to an amazing concert presented by the instrumental and choral groups from each division of the School. This kick-off event was presented in honor of Katharine Howland who established the first RHS Faculty Teaching Chair in the Arts and dedicated to longtime RHS music teacher Jeff DuClos who retired this past September.

The concert took place in the Sharpe Gymnasium, which was transformed into a beautiful performance space by RHS alumnus, parent and Emmy Award-winning lighting designer Roy Bennett `75. Roy, along with his wife Karen, sponsored the evening's event. Our thanks to the Bennetts and to Meg Myette and Jack McNamara who direct the chorus and band students here at Rocky Hill. It was certainly a night to remember.
