National
Sportsmanship Day cont.
In addition,
our students marched together to commemorate Go FOURTH, a nationally
recognized respect program created by RHS Fifth Grade Teacher Mary
Wright. Schools in Italy , Iran and Thailand will march as well.
Rocky Hill
School senior, Hannah Knowles, proudly represents RHS today as the
Rhode Island winner of the National Sportsmanship Day essay contest.
Read her message as posted in today's edition of USA
Today. Her essay was also posted in the RI
Interscholastic League Winter Bulletin.
Congratulations
to the students who submitted winning essays and posters as part
of Sportsmanship Day:
Caroline
Dunn Packer, Erik DonFrancesco,
David Monti and Vincenzo
Moretti (click on name to read essay). The Upper School
composed the Rocky HIll School Sportsmanship
Creed under the direction of Mr. Boaz. Finally, amazing posters
were designed by our youngest students, with special recognition
going to Cameron Nichols '19, and Ava Lamoureux '16.
