Dear
Students and Families,
Veterans
Day: Thank you to Mr. Ted MacDonald for helping us
to organize a thoughtful Veterans Day observance for our Middle
and Lower School community this past week. Added to this year's
program was the replica of the USS Saratoga which
was on display in front of Campbell. Veterans from the Saratoga
Museum Foundation were on hand to discuss the ship and the
events surrounding it.

Thanksgiving
is just around the corner and Kindergarten and Grade 5 are
coordinating this year's Thanksgiving baskets in the Lower
School for the needy. Every class is creating a list of ingredients
for a complete family Thanksgiving meal and then filling the
baskets in class. The baskets will be delivered to families
in need in the East Greenwich area by our Upper School students.
Food donations will be accepted until Tuesday, Nov.
25th. Thank you, in advance, for your help with this
project.
Many
parents attending the LS Parent Coffee and Conversation
this week were interested in the Handwriting without Tears
writing program which has been instituted in Kindergarten
through Grade 2. For more information, please visit this website:
www.hwtears.com.
Lost
and Found Our basket runneth over!! We have collected
quite a few pieces of unclaimed clothes and lunch bags this
fall. If your child is missing any items, please come and
see if they are in our Lost and Found basket which is located
in the Perkins supply closet next to Mrs. O's office. It helps
if all children's outer clothing is labeled with their name.
Thanks!

Sixty students took part in our programs this fall! I
would like to send a big Rocky Hill thank you to all
the instructors, teachers, and parents who helped to make
