Swept
Away

There's
sadness in the air
And
mourning everywhere.
How
could a wave so great
Kill
so many if not capable of hate.
So
many loved ones lost;
How
will their future be,
When
all their memories and possessions
have
been swept out to sea.
No
more father, no more mother,
no
more brother, no more sister,
Just
the memory of the last time you kissed her. Mr.
Heath, Mrs. Dumas and Mrs .
No
more comfort, no more homes, Nichols toss flowers
in the water
Just
the thought of being alone. to serve as a memorial.
Now
it's time to look ahead,
And
help our neighbor so there are no more dead.
Before
disease and famine set in,
We
must help the next of kin.
There
always comes a time,
When
all there is left to do is band together and build anew.
We
must all remember,
It
is through pain, we as a world have the most to gain. |
