Educational
Philosophy
I
hope that my time with Middle School children instills in them
a curiosity and love of learning, as well as the skills to pursue
that learning. School should be hard work, but joyful as well.
To give children the desire and the opportunity to struggle through
to a moment of comprehension, to that moment where they shout,
surprised, “I get it!” is a wonderful way to spend one's time,
and I get to do this every day!
Interests,
Activities and Plans
I enjoy travel, swimming,
cycling, kayaking, cross-country skiing, and hiking. I'm also
a voracious reader, and am in the process of writing my doctoral
dissertation at BU.
On
a Personal Note
I have 2 daughters,
Jacqueline (RHS '08) and Anthea (RHS '10) and we live with our
numerous cats in Jamestown . We travel as often as possible, and
enjoy the search for new “favorite places” wherever we go.
