On
a Personal Note:
I
grew up at St. Andrew's School in Delaware where my father taught
Mathematics and coached for 40 years. As a child, I spent my summers
in a small cottage on the coast of Maine . I now spend part of
my summers on Deer Isle, Maine. In 1994, my wife, Cathy, 7-year
old son, Alexander and I spent a year-long sabbatical from Pomfret
School cruising on our Cape Dory 30 from Maine to the Bahamas.
Cathy is the Director of Admission and Financial Aid at Rocky
Hill School. Alexander came to Rocky Hill as a 4th grader and
graduated magna cum laude in 2005. He is currently a freshman
in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University
of Pennsylvania .
