Philosophy of Education

Personal Goals for 2006-2007 at Rocky Hill School:  to establish and develop a high-quality, student driven publication course (yearbook); to continue to improve the overall quality and design of the yearbook, including input and contributions from the entire school community; to integrate further the Harkness model in the Spanish language classroom, and to become more proficient in the application and use of technology in my teaching.

  • Married to Donald Round, PhD, University of Connecticut '95, (College of Wooster, BA, '72, and Moses Brown ‘70), neuropsychologist at McLean Psychiatric Hospital in Belmont, Mass.
  • One daughter, Rachel Round (Moses Brown '04), a junior at The Faculty of Arts, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec.

           

  • One pet, a Smooth Coat Collie, named Sheba, 8 yrs. old.
