On
a Personal Note
I
was born in Stamford , CT and spent six years living in Darien ,
CT before moving to Dover , MA where I lived for fifteen years.
As a child, I spent my summers on Deer Isle, ME and now my husband
and I have our own summer cottage on the island. In 1994, my husband,
Andy, 7-year old son, Alexander, and I spent a year-long sabbatical
from Pomfret School cruising on our Cape Dory 30 from Maine to the
Bahamas. Andy is an Upper School Mathematics teacher and a national
and international masters rowing champion. Alexander came to Rocky
Hill as a 4th grader and graduated magna cum laude in 2005. He is
a junior in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the
University of Pennsylvania .
