Educational
Philosophy
It is possible to learn
and have fun at the same time! You can't learn when you're bored
or disinterested. The material has to MEAN something. I try to
present material to my students in ways that are relevant to them
and their lives. Once they realize that I listen to the same music,
watch the same TV shows, eat the same food, have the same gripes,
it makes them see me as a person instead of the guy behind the
desk. Once we make that connection, it is easier for them to see
how much I love the material I teach. Hopefully, some of them
will think “Hey…if he's that excited about this stuff, maybe I'll
give it a shot…”
