NutriKids POS (Point of Sale)...What is it?
NutriKids POS is a computerized cash register system that is being implemented by our food service provider (Flik) to be used during Middle and Upper School lunches and breaks.
Why are we doing it?
To improve the check-out process for the students. Middle and Upper School students/parents will be able to put money on account and eliminate the need to carry cash to school every day. Or, if you choose, students can still pay with cash at check out.
Here’s the process:
All MS and US students* will have the opportunity to have a lunch account. Any amount can be put “on account.” Money on account can be used for lunches, breakfasts, milk or for snacks.
(*NutriKids POS only applies to Lower School snack or ice cream purchases since LS lunch is included in tuition.)
What is my child's PIN number?
Over the summer, new MS and US parents will be mailed a letter with your child's Student ID and 4-digit PIN number. It is important your child learns this 4-digit number. (A practice pin pad can be printed out... see below.)
